The questions people actually ask

Why is it free in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg?
Because that is where lexilink comes from, and because a tool that language teachers here can use without a budget line is worth more to us than the licence revenue. The two states are a decision we made, not a discount we recover somewhere else.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing, because there is nothing to stop paying. The personal price is charged once. There is no subscription to lapse and no month in which your sets go read-only.
Do my students need to pay?
No. A student joins a class their teacher created and studies against it at no cost. Payment is a teacher-side and school-side question.
Where does my data live?
On servers we run ourselves in Germany, not on a rented platform in another jurisdiction. Nothing about your classes is sold, and nothing is used to train anything.
